The Beatitudes series

We began a seven week series on July 28 looking at the Beatitudes. These are Jesus’ famous sayings at the beginning of Matthew 5, “Blessed are the poor in spirit, the meek etc.” In them Jesus turns upside down our expectations of what the truly blessed life will look like. He describes something much more glorious and more challenging than we would ever have dreamt of. Oh yeah.
